This movie is beautiful. Beautiful. The effort that has been put into it is just amazing.
holy wow they even added the little reflection look from the moisture in his eyes. and the little bloodvessels and the redness in the corner of his eyes. And look at those shadows on his nose to give it its shape, and the little black hairs mixed in with his bangs. They even added those tiny fain freckles on the bridge of nose.
This movie deserves so much than what it got, like really
Except the movie has won, and has been nominated for, multiple awards for its animation. Critically it might not have been received well (from what I can see it received mixed to good praise) but the animation is being noticed.
That being said it is gorgeous.
