I apologize for the crappy photo. This is my first ever attempt at inking with a brush. It’s not the best in the world, but it’s a start. I’m going to try to start inking some of my work traditionally. I think it will add a little character to my work and I think it will be a lot more fun than inking on the computer.

Don’t get me wrong, I still love inking on the computer with my current setup, but there’s just something about getting my hands dirty and making something that you can see and touch in person. It’s very satisfying to me.

I would also like to note that I got my hands on some gouache. For those of you that don’t know what that is, think of it like a very opaque watercolor. I used white gouache to do corrections. Expect some stuff like this to pop up from time to time as I continue to learn.
