i think if tumblr adds a chat system
they should definitely make it so people can only contact you though it if you are following them
otherwise they still have to use your inbox
if anyone could message you through it it would really suck
and you should be able to turn it on and off, like you can do with asks. Also, tumblr, don’t add those “read” and “sent” things or I’ll fucking jump
