Not true to their elements?

I’m so tired to hearing people complain about “The Last Round Up”. Everyone keeps saying that Applejack and Rainbow Dash weren’t true to their Elements of Harmony. Applejack wasn’t dishonest. She just didn’t tell the whole truth. She said she’d send the money soon and that didn’t want to talk about why she wasn’t returning to Ponyville. Her PRIDE was hurt and has caused her trouble before (“Applebuck Season” Ep.4 Seasons 1). Now, Rainbow dash is COMPETITIVE (“Fall Weather Friends” Ep.13 Season 1 & “The Mysterious Mare Do Well” Ep.8 Season 2) She was neck-to-neck racing with the other carriage to keep up with Applejack.
