(I sincerely hope that this post does not offend anyone with it’s pony content. Neil Armstrong along with other astronauts and cosmonauts, captured my imagination when I was young. The risks in sending Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins to the moon were enormous, and the risks of the lunar landing and return were greater still. It is because of the Apollo missions that we have learned so much about our planet’s closest neighbor.)
